Kevin Thurman is a Certified Public Accountant with tax and accounting expertise in the dental industry. He began his career with large accounting firms over 20 years ago and founded DentaLedgers to focus exclusively on dentists and dental practices. Kevin serves dentists by providing accurate financial statements for their practices, minimizing income taxes with planning and preparation, and advising on dental practice start-ups, purchases, and sales.
Kevin is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and studied at DePaul University and California State University and has a Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University. His specialized education and years of industry experience positions him as a trusted advisor to dental practices of all shapes and sizes. Kevin has over a decade of experience in providing dental practice valuation, practice sale, partner buy‒out, and acquisition advisory services to dental clients. Kevin assists both practice buyers and sellers to determine a reasonable value for practices, projecting cash flow, securing funding, negotiating tax minimization purchase and sale structures, and performing due diligence procedures. Kevin also provides exit planning services to help dentists maximize the value of their practices one to three years before marketing practices for sale.
